Scarlett & Duke were bred last week after Scarlett decided to surprise us and go into heat 4 months earlier than expected! We are so happy to have red Goldendoodles again and have opened their waiting list. We will take 4 deposits for our Priority Waitlist. Once we confirm more puppies by ultrasound or have more born, we will then open up additional waitlist spots.
We are NOW excepting applications and deposits to secure pick order for Scarlett's litter of F1b red/apricot Standard Goldendoodle puppies due approx. June 25th. (Tenative Go-Home date Sunday, August 18th)
There puppies are expected to be 50-70lbs full grown. Their families LOVE them and are so happy with their new family members. Most have kept their lovely red coats and we couldn't be more pleased!
As always with her litters, we are planning to keep one female puppies from this litter for future breeding.
It is important to note that we will be working with a local service dog training organization for this litter and have given then 2nd pick of the litter. Canine Support Teams purchases and rescues dogs, then places them with "puppy raisers" till they are older and can start being trained for service. While they are being raised, they attend monthly classes and have check-in's with the organization to see if they are continuing to meet their goals for service dog training.
Because we are involved with Canine Support Teams, they will be testing the puppies around 7-weeks. What this means is, FOR THIS LITTER ONLY, we will not have a separate "Puppy Pick day" and "Go-Home day" but puppies will be chosen on the day they go home at 8 weeks instead.
I know this is different than many of you may have heard it done, but for many breeders, this is the main way they place puppies. For purebred breeders looking for dogs with show conformation, structure is best seen at 8 weeks old.
